No new pay scale declared by CoS till date , many site published new pay scale list based on recommendations of the committee of secretaries (CoS) . The only news available till date is that in calculating the Basic Pay (Pay Band and Grade Pay), DA of 86% was suggested against the 74% recommended by the Sixth Pay Commission. There is no information about the increase in number of pay bands or change in the increment proposed.
It is also only expected that the Thirteenth Finance Commission is to review pay panel recommendations, but not yet referred to 13th FC. The next cabinet meeting is on 7th August and it is expected that the issue will be discuss on7th August 08 .
